Your First Visit
Entering our office you will be greeted with a smile by our receptionist. She will begin by assisting you with your new patient forms. These forms will allow your doctor to better understand your problem and determine the starting point.
Consultation: Following the completion of the intake forms you will begin a complete consultation with your doctor. This will allow you the opportunity to discuss and fully explain what has been happening to you health. In your own words you can talk about your problem and what health goals your doctor may be able to help you with.
Examination: After the one-on-one consultation with your doctor a complete wellness examination will be started to better determine the extent of you problem. Spinal postural analysis, Spinal Thermography, Orthopedic, Neurological, and Biomechanical evaluations will all be performed to better evaluate your problem completely. This allows your doctor the chance to understand your issue and get to the source of the problem.
X-rays: At the end of your thorough examination the doctor will determine if spinal X-rays are necessary to better evaluate the integrity of your spine. X-rays allow your doctor to see the biomechanical stability of the spine. Additionally the x-ray allows the doctor more comprehensive information to treat your condition more specifically and efficiently. Many patients are fascinated by the amount of information they can see on an x-ray.
Report of Findings: Once all the information is collected, Dr. Jerod or Dr. Aspen will sit down with you and explain what was found during your examination. During this time we will answer any and all of your questions including:
- Can we help you?
- How long is it going to take to get better?
- How much is it going to cost?
This report will lay out what is necessary to reach your personal goals. If we can help you we will explain what will be necessary to treat your problem with our exceptional care. If the problem is something we cannot help we will let you know that and get you to the right professional.
Treatment: At the conclusion of the Report of Findings you will have the opportunity to begin your treatment with us. This may include chiropractic adjustments, therapy, stretching, or exercises based on your specific need. It is very important that you communicate with your doctor as we begin this process to better evaluate your progress.
